With charateristics from both the Blue Heeler and the Australian Shepherd, this breed is energetic and intelligent with natural herding instincts. They are affectionate to those they know and love, but a little wary of strangers. As with their parent breeds, the Texas Heeler’s headstrong nature and keen intelligence makes them eager to learn.
